Star-Studded Juneteenth Festival Line-Up Announced
Join House Speaker Welch and this incredible line-up of artists and entertainers as we celebrate another year of building the dream at our 3rd annual Juneteenth Festival! We will be at Memorial Park District in Hillside on Wednesday, June 19 from 1 to 5 PM.
This year's festival will be hosted by DJ Johnny "Koolout" Starks. Koolout is a radio personality on Soul 106.3 FM, actor, writer, and producer.
Headlining the festival is award-winning artist Keya Trammel. Keya is a Chicago Music Award Winner for "Best Female Vocalist" and was featured in Vogue Magazine for her groundbreaking work as an alopecia advocate.
Additionally, we will have entertainment from West African dance troupe, Ayodele Dance and Drum, Proviso West High School Drumline, and the gravity-defying Jesse White Tumblers.
Registration is still open to any vendors or community organizations who are interested in promoting their business or sharing resources. We are also accepting event sponsors who want to make a bigger impact and have their logo featured on event signage, as well as volunteers who can help with set up, take down, games, and activities.
